UCPath Ongoing Projects

Please visit UCPath Deployed Projects to view the projects and initiatives that are Live. Below is a high-level summary of our ongoing UCPath projects impacting UC Merced. These projects below are set to go live for October & November 2024:

October Release 2024 - 10/06/2024

  • Improve Accrual Management: Improve UCPath leave accrual processing by leveraging delivered PeopleSoft Absence Management functionality to calculate, validate and correct the system leave balances.

November Release 2024 - 10/25/2024

  • Automate Security Deprovisioning (Inter-Location): Security access for employees is currently decentralized and manually handled at the location level. When employees experience an inter-location transfer, this will require updated security provisions by the former and new locations. When this is not done timely, the UCPath Center Security team must manually identify and update the employee’s security provisions at the former location to allow the new location to grant appropriate access.

  • Direct Entry Enhancements: Provide an enhanced process for locations to enter new hires for Employees, Contingent Workers, and Concurrent Hires directly into UCPath with an approval framework.

  • Rewrite GL Assessments - Local: Consolidate, centralize and streamline the generation of assessment information including:
    • Calculate assessments after summary and detail labor ledger results are generated adhering to new service level agreements (SLAs)

    • Separate assessment into individual processes independently of other GL processes.
